Gaz coilovers added to the car also st170 front brake conversion added the front brake line has been made wrong my mistake will make up a new piece and run through the right way also nut for engine mount is on order from ford monday now, as you can also see there are a few little yellow blemisshes under arch this is waxoil where i thought would be best to cover than have problems later also got original white pop rivets for whole car just need to apply kit to car rear arch, arch is there just to see it fitted right as i got it from another series one wanted to make sure, braided brake lines are coming also will match the rest of the car also few other new refurbed bits on the way for under arches to get near perfect

callipers will be refurbed also as trial fitted to see if 12mm drilling to the hub worked ok will have new seals and powdered in red i think????? only reason did not go bigger as i wanted to fit rs`7 spoke alloys to the car soo st170 best choice my opinion

also rear drums maybe getting changed for disc conversion or may just get drums powder coated black as i left these un coated as in 2 minds of what to have drums or discs coilovers all fitted to the rear also

Hi, I am restoring a SE myself at the moment and have just put the boot interior back together, but I dont have a spare wheel cover and cant seem to source one from anywhere. Could you please send me a pic of yours if you have one, so I may be able to make one to fit.

Thanks

Dave

By the way yours is looking top.

hi i also have one the exact same, i live in germany and goin bk home to scotland soon but i want to get mine running first, i bought the car as a non runner and the guy who sold me it said it needed only a fuel metering unit, bought one and was wrong one, eventually found the correct one and fitted it, car still won't start, it backfires and seems like compression comes out of the inlet manifold butterfly, what is possibly wrong with the car, is there any advice you can give me, had its head gasket and alot more work last year all recipted from a genuine ford dealership, could it possibly be due to the fact it aint been running in approx 6-8 months, im getting a spark, fuel and air and timing is perfect also wb and help me please cant find and info on net at all, regards Aaron kyle

backfiring could be a fair few things also if it missing may i would check the dizzy cap rotor or the leads quite common if they cheap crap also check spark plug gap adjustments may have crap in the fuel lines try some strong petrol cleaner make sure you have enough petrol in or you may fry the injectors or pump also i would reccommend a crypton tune or a proper rolling setup but not needed if not modified hope it helps any more info or bits needed mate pm me, check makesur fuelpump is primmimng and running ok also make sure you have fuel getting to all fule lines and injectors just take each pipe off put container underneath and prime the fuel pump yo umay have a airleak from some where only around the inlet manifold area as you have the valve underneathe and pipe to the brake servop and vacum pipes to the breather and metering unit, the fuel can be adjusted from the metering unit to make high or low but try not to mess with it best to have that setup hope all this helps anymore info needed 07727227875 you can contact me on mate good luck
