finally i can do an update
well since the car was at the unit it got water inside it, so first job was to get the sound deadening back up and i decdided to get the floor back to bare metal as the metal had started to pit, ill get pics tomorrow of what i mean as im unsure how to treat it
plus i want to tidy up the welds on the gearbox tunnel and sort it out on the inside
fitted a brande new tailgate loom aswell with new pin connection, and also fiited stainless bolts in the wings with some black caps beefy sent me ages ago
so couple of pics for now and ill update as i go along
new looms
back to metal
wing bolts
also when i got the car back from gaz, the only thing i wasnt happy with was how shallow the rear arches look compared to the front wings so i needed them wider , so i chopped everything where it should of been went to pull them and it creased the panel slightly , so the car will be going upto gaz to have it cut and plates welded in, the last couple of pics are where i think the quarter needs to be cut to properly pull it out but also keeping the lines mainly the top line and between the arch but im sure gaz will sort this, i want the rear quarters wide

little update
i used some zinc primer, then plated over the original welds for the tunnel, only reason i done this is on passenger side it was very sharp corners and i needed it a bit smoother for sound deadening to stick properly, aswell as giving the tunnel and extra skin in some respect, i also chopped the high bit out in the centre cross member and made it flush
also made a new frame for it to roll on as the last one bent lol so couple of pics, it doesnt look pretty but its strong and inside the car
new frame, dont think this one will bend lol
the centre part i lowered
and some plates
also as the car got water in it, i had a bit of rust round the passenger seat post so i had to plate it, was only a small hole but once rust was cut became quite large ill sort the under side out when the car goes on its side
also spoke to mk motorsport, i really want his beam, so this could next on the cards now before the car goes over as ill have to change suspension mounts on theback, but then i could also tub the inner arches to give me that little more clearence once i get some back seats to see how much i can move them in by
