Small update guys. Started to mount everything back on. A chaos with all the difftent bolts, nuts, bits and bobs. Got the tank and cover back from the painter and it looked fantastic. He have done a incredible job with it. The surface is just as nice as the paint on my escort.

It has finally hit the ground for the first time in ages and for the first time on the new wheels. Starting to get close to start up, but a lot of travelling this summer has kept the progress down. So now im taking her to my friends garage, racefix here in Norway. He specialises in cosworths and hes gonna do the fuelsystem done, get the car mapped and ready for me when i get back from Korea in 5 weeks. Then its to the paintshop to do some painting of various parts such as sideskirts, rear spoiler and one of the rear wings. Then its just minor things before its 100% ready
For the first time the escort sits lower than the oilburner

FINALLY i have oilpressure on the old lady again. 1,5 years on stands in my garage
All im missing now is a new exhaust. I started to polish the old mongoose but it had some small dents and didnt look mint, so i ordered a new one. Also i need to use a 2wd downpipe because of the T5 box. The car feels SO much better as 2wd and the T5 box. I love the feeling of it now, and it still feels like its glued to the road. But i need to get it on the dyno to get it mapped properly. Started to mount some of the carbon bits as well.
Also got the mechanical handbrake calipers mounted
And i got a stereo mounted in the wall in my garage. Need some music when im in there most of the day
And if some of you in here have a mint 2wd gearknob, please let me know I really need one!!!

You're " THE MAN " Arne !!
Awesome rebuild and no expensis saved to let it look like this...
You're a detourment chap to keep working on it that long.
I agree with you, it wouldn't be my first color choice either.
But as it sits in your garage, it looks ace, mate...
I love your eye for details like: rims, brakes, underside painting, carbon bits.
Please post as soon as possible pictures of the car in dayligth !!
