yes dave it is & so is the r32 box the gearbox needs to be stripped totally so the bell housing can be cut off & milled to make sure it is flat then either weld on a billet adaptor to take a 2wd cossy bellhousing or just weld the bell housing direct to the box then you got to machine the main shaft down so it fits in the cossy spigot bearing in the crank ,also you need to modify the front & rear props to suit ,fit a centre push clutch fit all the hydraulic gubbins that controls it & get a hydraulic controller from martin hadland so you can adjust how much power you want to go to the front wheels . ill do it one day but i want to get it on the road for a year & enjoy

Christ !!!! I leave you alone for 2 weeks and you turn the car over and start cutting it up
I take it you were practicing getting the car out the garage as it will be too wide to get it out the door.

right i cocked up today as i forgot to get the steel for the trans tunnel so i got my trusty old grinder out again & cut the front strut tops out
then me & richie looked at the old brace to the strut tops that were on the old cage& decided the easiest way to cut them off was to cut the side of the inner flitch off
here is one of the old braces
it used to go to the cage that ran down the out side of the A pillar but now it just stops
the old bit cut out
i also got my drive shaft spacers today as well
there will be more cutting tomorrow

i bet they dont weigh much surely alluminium would have been a lot nicer on the diff bearings if you really have to do that, or even to the unsprung weight if they are going outboard Andy ?

i never thaught about aluminium they are only a temporary measure until i can afford new wheels to fill the new arches out ,they are going inside the rear hub carriers i made which are quiet light compared to the original swinging arms so over all should not be to bad
ps they weigh 3.2lbs each

i started by welding one of the top mounts on
then i started to strip all the inner bulk head back to bare metal which started to reveal yet more rust so i cut it all out
i also cut the last of the roll cage out of the A pillar
tomorrow i will start to weld it all back up again
