hi everyone just a quick question i own a escort rst series 2 i am going to paint the underside should i use hammerite or something else this car is my everday car it is not concours or anything like that i just want a decent protetive finish thanks

 

Been told hammerite is the way to go dont think its the best but is GOOD if u dont want do go mad ,but wait to somebody else confirms

 

you will want to get some chassis paint and some waxoyl http://www.frost.co.uk/ look at that site, they got decent chassis paint, which unlike hammerite wont chip off hammerite good for little bits that wont get damaged but other than that its crap. they have some other cool stuff that you might like on there as well

 

I JUST RESRORED MY OWN S2 MATE AND I USED A SPRAY ON STONE CHIP U CAN GET IT IN BLACK WHITE OR GREY AND WONT CHIP AND FLAKE LIKE HAMMERITE SO IT MAKES IT MORE PRACTILCE IF U USE THE CAR REGULAR HOPE THIS HELPS

I have Hammerited both my cars and i'm realy happy with the results.

Looks good and cleaning is easy to do...
