Was a good laugh today. I washed the Skoda, Tom washed and polished JB off... I mean JB's Cossie, Wes washed his bike and Jim washed the MR2 (Not very well )

Okay, update time !!

But this part the story has a sad ending Sniff sniff real tears !!

Well the day started out good !! (for a change). I found the last few bolts holdin the dash in jus before Jim rung me to tell me alot of peeps take the screen out to get the dash out
They was ere...........


So this was the last time the dash would be a part of the yellow M3



I cut my finger again (sniff)


Then the dash was out !! (yay)


Then all that was left, was a few components & the dreaded loom !! Tom turned up to lend a hand after his passionate night the night before with Paul
He was upset so I gave him a cuddle (Had to smack his hands a couple of times )


Then we cracked on !!




After the cuddle Tom kept lookin at me funny !!


Then came & sat next to me like he did Paul !! (lookin at me AGAIN !!)


I ignored his advances & sexual inuendo's & carried on wit the job at hand !!

Jim showed up & cracked on wit the front door cards !!




Then it was a case of localising the wiring harness, first into the n/s of the car


Then we started sortin the smashed fuse box



Pulled all of it through the bulk head (which was split) into the car


And placed the whole lot in the n/s/f foot well


The drag & drop onto the floor outside !!


Leavin this (jus noticed the loom was still in at this point )


Jim wanted to take the car for one last spin so hopped in (literally)!! Tom not missin an oppertunity to set next to a boy hopped in too !! (notice 8 cans Red Bull )



Tom givin hints to Jim as too what he wanted (look of determination on Toms face )


And that spelt the end of the yellow M3 which was once 400hp (Tom lookin like Wolverine )


R.I.P.

Once that had all been delt with, it was time to order Pizza & some of the crew to arrive !!

And left the 2 lonely cars on the drive wit the ghost Escort Cossie in the garage !!


Oh we also found this under the passenger seat of Jim's M3 !! Orange juice (half full), empty packet of Relentless & tissue's only mean one thing !!


That was the day, the evening's events will follow shortly !!

The evening started a lil late

We linked up wit Tom & Jim up the road shortly after Rich had left on-route for Southers !!

Tom took this pic cos he thought it looked 'ard !!


Then fueled up & topped up wit the ol Rad Bull & we "hit the road jack"

We had to make a lil detour on route to pick Kirstie's friend up & we linked everyone in Thurrock services !!

Paul was wit Dojj in the Mondy, Rich was wit his lovely ladie, Jim was wit HIS ladie & I had Kirstie & Steph !!

Rich's car looks PROPA !! No doubt bout it & f**k me does it go !!

Then we all mosseyed on down to Southers, me & Rich didn't get a propa play & mine was feelin really held back (put it down to bein 3 up) where we met up wit the King of rs turbo's Twins, Steve wit the XR2 & a few of the boy's etc !! Including Adam who has a Moonstone Saph who I haven't seen for TIME !!

So after havin giggles down Southers & the attention from the feds heatin up the decision was made to move on !!

Cruisin behind Twin on the 127 honestly @ about 40/50 mph no more, I heard a pop, then the engine died !!

Hopped out the mota, flipped the bonnet & everything lookin in tack except the lug that secure's the fuel rail which had snapped off the plenium !! Wouldn't stop the engine from firing tho, so asked Stu to keep an eye on the cam pulley's as I flicked the key JUST incase the belt had gone (fearin the worst) Stu confirmed it straight away the cams didn't turn, but the bottom pulley did !!

Game over, Cossie dead !!

All the lads helped push the car into the Jet garage on the 127 & Dave (the god send that he is) called recovery out to get it back to my Momma house !! (thank you)

So wit the car sittin in the garage, all that was left to do was..............

Then I had to whip the front bumper off the Cossie to get on the back of the truck as she wouldn't go otherwise !!

All this slightly annoyed them (don't know why ?? ) & Kirstie decided to try hit me wit me bumper !!


So while runnin away I managed to get a snap of Mr Jet man !!

And finally @ 2am the truck arrived !!

So, now gettin in at 4:30am, Kirstie charged up on Red Bull & not sleepin so ment fallin alseep at 5:30am, then gettin up @ 6:30am for Comunity Service & not finishin till 4pm, then havin to shimmy all the motors round wit Tom & my brother, I'm pooped !!

But I got a dilema now which I'll explain tomorrow !! The sad news is my baby Cossie is now dead & sittin next to a dead M3 !!

A HUGE (biggest EVER) thanks has to go out to ALL the boy's & girls wit me Saturday night, you are TRUE friends & this will never be forgotten, thank you !! MWAH !!

P.s. forgot to say, when the dude pulled the Cossie off the trailor, he managed to pull it off & crack the rear bumper !! He tried blaggin it sayin it was already there but it weren't & thought I was gonna kick off so filled out all the forms & told me to contact his company to get it sorted !! Wasn't a good night really !!

Rich, the bottom pulley has stripped the cam belt of enough teeth for it to stop the cmas from turning !! I replaced the belt roughly bout April/May, so wasn't old, but I have heard this happen before, maybe a fault with the bottom pulley ??

Deffo some bent valve's tho !!

My problem now is, I can't afford to fix it !! After gettin Kirstie the M3, thats me wedge gone for large amounts of spending !! And I don't wana jus whip the top off, replace whats damaged & chuck it back together as I'll be in the same bout as now where she's not runnin right or 100%, and I jus know she'll never get mapped cos I'll always wanna drive it !! so the thought process is, let someone repair & then map it at the same time, do it once ya know ??

Now Kirstie (bless my princess), is beggin me to sell what we need off the M3 to raise the wedge for the Cossie, but I got the M3 for her, I seen her so excited bout it now & jus can't take it away from her !!

So I dunno what to do, it'll take well into next year to get the Cossie back on the road as most me wedge is accounted for now (Cossie funds have deminished, as I spent to much already on her) & depending on the severaty of the damage could be quite an expensive job, includin mappin, big wing sump & air injectors.

Plus the Cossie's supposed to be a cheap "ish" toy & I don't want this to get outta hand like my old Saph !!

Deffo heard some valve/piston contact when the engine diead tho !!

My problem is if I fix it, it'll never get mapped knowin me !! so this jus feels like a sign to get it sorted once & for all, hence the thoughts of lettin someone repair & map it all in one !!

Gonna whip the head off for inspection maybe tonight, then gonna whip the engine out & get sorted all the stooopid lil things I been meanin to do for god knows how long now !! I mean the exhaust manifold has had a blow for months for one !! but manifold comin off anyways lol

for a year i dont know depends if i decide to go back to reading at the weekends, got people im gonna miss!! and of course ill be home for xmas and easter!! i have no idea mate...we will just have to see!!

Sorry to hear that, The timing belt needs to be tensioned with the correct tool turning the engine backwards when done this always feels to tight but is correct, If it was done with the normal turn it 90dg and that tight this will aways strip the belt in the way your has,
You have big valve pockets in the pistons so you should not have to much damage, Check the valve giudes where the valves are bent as this can crack them.

You always said evrey time you drive the cossie it always fell faster, so think off the felling youll get when you get back on the road with all your bits on and probaly mapped.
