Looking good Lee - A Siemens 55lb Blacks/T34.63 on a standard motor can do around the 380bhp mark - it's personally my favourite conversion package and feels good in an Escos...
I'm thinking of the weight differences between an Escos and your Westfield...
And i'm grinning
If your pikeyness sees the requirement for any free weird odds and ends - give me a shout - i have 2 drawers of my toolbox full of them
I'll look forward to being overtaken at a trackday soon
P.S - Excellent work from Stu/Chip/Project Manager

Indeed! Its also given me a chance to update this thread!
Lots of cleaning to be done in the engine bay and rear and so the car was wheeled outside and drenched in foam degreaser and I used a wheel brush to get in all the mucky bits! Stu reckons it was the dirtiest and greasiest engine and engine bay on any car he had ever seen!!!
Took him about 3 hours he said just to clean the block!!!
You can see how little car there actually is!!!!
Imagine 380bhp in this!!!!
Lots of goodies arrived. A prize of a drive of it to the person that gets the closest to naming EVERY part in this picture!!!!
close up with one part I think missing
lots of cometic gaskets as well again from mat lewis. (AWESOME SERVICE!!!) ... some were already on the engine!
Stu had been busy reassembling the engine with the spunky new gaskets, new bolts... (and the bufty even sprayed the pully black and the washer gold!!! ) and the new water pump from Mat lewis again.
some aeroquip for the fuel system
also for the new fuel system, treated yorik to an ubercool fuel reg. Its not just bling either... Maria and mum are going to be driving this... so NO corners are being cut on the fuel system and no old parts are being used. Seen enough old cossies and old kit cars go up in flames and its NOT gonna happen to this!!!
New AP organic clutch from Rainbum. Because the cars soooo light you dont need a paddle clutch so you can use the nicer organic one
Car was now dry and looking MUCH cleaner inside. Still some buftying to do with clothes and brake and clutch cleaner but it 1000% better already!
Trial fitted the new roll bar hoop.... LOOKS WANK!! but much safer... it has other bars to add as well....
old... super cool looking... but totally useless in a crash!!!
none!!!
new (half of it)
Stu also got me this supercool gated sump.... no oil surge for yorik!!!
More updates later!!!

Well, after getting my sorry arse off the sofa I did some bits on the Westy.
Stripped out the fuel tank and the old pump/filter and pipework ready for the new aeroquip gear.
Also made some nice new brackets and welded them on to make the rear bodywork really secure.
Need to finish making some new brackets for re-positioning the group A pump and filter tomorow and also gonna weld in some bars to strengthen the diff cage too.
Just a couple of pics.
Old fuel system...........YUK
New fuel system..........SWEEEEEEEEEET!
Engine bits like nice cleaned/skimmed head and pocketed pistons to be collected in tomorow.
Its all down hill from here! Hooray.
