Hi Rich, wicked car mate and I know we've spoken alot on PM about the spec but it's always nice to actually see the car and see where the effort has gone! Looks great mate!

My Track spec springs have just turned up too, I did buy some 3dr hubs months ago but they never turned up, just got my money back from some retard! so gonna have to go on the hunt for some more!

I'll be interested to see how yours feels when it's all done, you on Koni's too arn't you?

Hi Dan,

Yes on Koni's. The fronts are remaining on road spec springs as the front can hardly be pushed down as it is with the koni's on max stiffness and the springs. The rears i bought to firm it up a little more at the back . Cant Wait. YOu also need track control arms from the 3 door as well. There should be more updates coming on mine sometime soon. buying and fitting of a big wing sump for starters

That's cool then mate, I can't wait to get rid of my shonkey standard suspension!

What stiffness have you got the rear shocks on?

Whole car is max stiffness. Im not interested in ride comfort or the passengers comfort for that matter. I want to go fast and go round bends fast. Plus with the ultra wide 888 on the back i cant have it soft, hence the track springs for the rear. IF you find your front setup too hard with the track springs, i will glady swap my road going versions with your track ones

I thought the only difference between AB Road & Track springs are the rears are stiffer, fronts are the same?

If there is a difference and mine is too hard then we'll swap no worries!

Just dropped you a PM too

The 1st pic is the wheels with a 35 offset. The 2nd is with a 40 offset. The wheel itself isnt a problem. The tyre is the wide part and fills the arch to perfection

Lovely car Rich.

I had the same problem with the 888's when I put mine on. The side walls are so much flatter and make them taller around the arch. I had to have my arches done too. So worth it though.

My car was just getting to that point of being a potential licence loser that I decided to do track days. I have never looked back and wish I had done it earlier.

I have only done Bedford Autodrome Gt Circuit, Brands Hatch Indy Circuit and Silverstone GP Circuit. But what a rush. Can't wait for the next one!

Happy motoring in a lovely specced saph.

Problems, problems

Last week at the Performance Ford trackday at snetterton this happened:

Turbo failure. SO car off the road now until i get a new turbo. Goign to get a GT30, which will meana change of injectors and chip, but will look towards going to a fully mapable ecu

Will be updates as and when parts arrive. Have also purchased some 3 door hubs and tca. Once the car is up and running i will feed back the differences

Rich, you got to be able to get a second hand T34 for reasonable money just to keep you out there enjoying it, and then flog it on again when the time comes.

are you going to ford fair tomorrow? if not, want me to keep an eye out for a cheap ish T34, ill glady call you if i find one and buy it for you if you want, drop it off on the way home.

but ive got to admit, the car looks superb, i adore it on those wheels
