The mods are coming along nicely. Love the air scoop. Never noticed the scoop as I was parked on the other side of you.

What diameter pipe did you use for the intercooler? I'm looking at changing mine possibly for a carbon fibre tube. The pipe work i have goes from i think 2" to 3" on the final intake pipe. I'm thinking it would be better all the same size?

Got a pair of AP's this morning, after a bit of high temp paint in the grooves and around the rim, hopefully it should last quite a while before starting to rust.

The satin black paint I used, I found in my dad's shed. Later realised what it was, which is what he used to use to coat hot engine sections of jet planes that he worked on in the Navy years ago....me thinks it'll last a while!

Still waiting on some braided hosing and other bits n' bobs, as well as a few alloy tanks that will be powder coated to match the intercooler piping

Then its on to completion of me custom manifold....getting there now boys and girls

After paint...

Without wanting to sound stupid, what have you painted? By the way, I was at Oulton, you was going well.

Man you suffering from Altzheimer's??? We talked loads about Oulton here!

I've painted the grooves in the rotor itself black, and the rim of the rotor. Basic places where surface rust will appear in a few days. Since working on John's immaculate 3door, I feel the need to be as obsessive with the cleanliness

Got round to fitting the rotors and bells today, look great. Did a bit of bufty under the arches as usual, can't really tell the quality because I have a crap camera phone!

Had a nice header tank 2nd hand through the post the other day, this along a few other additions will be powder coated in satin black to match the intercooler pipework
