7.5x17" Dymags. I'm not sold on the white, but they got that 'MO' look about em, and are still pretty light for a big wheel. Not sure what model they are though

looking really good go lower though

Yeah, wheels are cool, but got a slow puncture on one and a busted valve on another! Sourced some lower springs, but debating fucking it off and getting something else now! Keeping the wheels whatever though !

Yeah, probably would, but I fancy something a bit more 80s TBH! Got my eyes on a MK3/4 Escort, something along those lines. Just bought (another) set of 17s so I can keep the Dymags if I sell it and refurb em for the next motor!

Got a nice workshop to play in now, and at 24 I feel I should have something faster

Imagine how I feel then, I think by now I should have something much quicker than a 2.0 Escort

I've looked into turbocharging, but not sure I can be bothered with it on this car. MK4s are lighter, and I do much prefer the look of the older stuff, so got lots in mind.

MOT to worry about first though

I was actually running about in a 1.4 before this one. They're ok, just have to abuse them a bit! Mine did loads of miles without complaining a bit, gotta love a CVH, nice and simple!

its going to be cut and moulded back together, then where the cut was a bit of filler to make it nice and smooooth ! so its going to be repainted yes but its staying black

Oh, and on the fuel needle dropping, if it makes you feel any better, my 2.0 is just as good on fuel as my old 1.4

With all that downforce/drag, the car will struggle to break the speed limit (around town ), let alone do three figures .
