Updates....not very many to be honest as I've been to pre-occupied with securing the lockup after it got broken into last weekend!! Fortunately nothing apart from a section of 2x2 box section (stuff used to create the engine mounts with - thieves obviously approved the quality!) was nicked from my area - but Ł10k worth of quads where nicked from another building!!!
Anyway..
Purchased a few things...
Cosworth Radiator with Fans (radiator not very old just dusty)
Fits in a treat..
Some sillyc*nt hoses..
Other purchases include....starter motor, diff mount, fuel rail & cable/fittings to relocate the battery to the boot.
I also obtained a 2wd manifold to try but unfortunately it interfered with the engine mount so I'm going to source a 4x4 manifold instead.
Also made a decision on the gearbox I'm running - not telling what it is (a few people already know so SHHHHH!) - hopefully picking it up tomorrow. Then I've got to order the bellhousing adaptor to mate it to the cossie bellhousing.
So next weekend should see the new gearbox mounted upto the engine & gearbox mount fabricated to the body - and if its all going well then the gearlever might even be operational too.
After this I need to remove the subframe, awaiting some magic potion that should help me with this as the subframes are a right bastard to remove on these!! Once the subframes removed I can proceed with welding & strengthening it as its impossible to weld upside down!!!
