Is has been a while since last update, but i really need some other camera than my mobile phone to get good photos of all the fittings and hooses in black colour!!
Almost all water/oil lines, and pressure controlls are completed, will change the left hand side oil cooler for one the same size as the right one, and in the process make a little more space for the 3" pressure pipe from the left hand side turbo.
Pictures ARE coming..
Anyway, the centre console is almost finished,it is really coming along nicely and get's the same "style" as the suspension frame in the boot, the side holes on it will be covered with carbon panels from the back side face of the frame :
Quite a bit of soldering is done to the wiring as well, hoping to complete most of the electrical stuff during next week.
Aiming for a respray of the whole car sometime during may, preferably the 2nd in may..
A good friend of mine from portugal even made a fan page for the car on faceboook!!
Check it out here, http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...1807270&ref=ts , and join us
Best regards from a COLD norway, no signs of summer yet...!

@fezzajsy - thanks AGAIN mate
@whizzisat114 - wow wow wow, naah, I think not, but with some time & effort, virtually everythinh is possible
@JohnyB - NICE
Well well, we are STRESSED theese days, my camera is destroyed so that is the reason for no new pictures, will have a fotographer visiting us soon with a decent camera so we'll get som real pictures for you!
The painter visited us yesterday, we are aiming delivering the car for the respray the 2nd week in may...shit we are in a hurry!!
Other than that, even more wiring is complete, the last section of exhaust that was left, from the turbos to the downpipes at the firewall is finished on the left hand side and the parts for right hand side is made ready for welding.
As soon as we get the dynamat sheets from the us, the interior mats and interior trim will be fitted again.
We are doing what we can to bring the car to DHB in denmark 4-6th of june, altough most likely, not race ready, but we will be there, and we're gonna have some fun
Ahh, I got two pictures of the almost completed centre console - what do you think?
Cheers

lookin' good mate , can't wait to see it in there and what she can do. sick of seeing them in Mustangs etc.
we might have both ours finished at the same time. i'm hoping to dyno her late May early June, grout filled 1-side today do the other tomorrow and then slowly screw her together. it's perfect weather here in Australia for the turbo cars.

tis looking very good, although the handbrake looks a tad close to the seat
what axle setup did you have with the YB lump in there tho Joel? looks to be lowered at the back end, but without the camber issues
any chance you will start up a line of those bottom arms for the mk2 granada and tvr owners?

I did use the std trailing arms but made shims that ui put between the trailing arms and the wheel bearing carrier, worked just fine it took away most of the camber issues.
As I am not running any company nor has unlimited access to machining facilities I will not be making any kind of parts for others I'm afraid, but thanks for asking
Cheers

Joel,
When you are finished you should setup one of those rolling start races that you see on M5Board, against a Koenigsegg CCR.
Awesome work!!

Thanks again guys for all the comments!!
Yesterday on norway's national day, we finally got the car out of our dirty shed of a workshop and delivered her to the paintshop, not for several years have we been so close to finishing her and it is a crazy , but good feeling!
The last photo in the workshop before we tore her down for paint :
and here she is, standing on her own 4 wheels, a little high and a litte low here and there, but nothing is properly adjusted yet..
BUT - Comments about the wheels anyone? Do they fit the car u think, or not?
We recon to have her back for the week end again
Cheers

I'm getting more used to them now, but was a bit sceptical before putting her down again.
Not using the tyres on them tough, want "higher" one.
Haha, it is 265's on 10" wheel at the rear now, and 20cm of space left innwards where the rim ends...
Actually the camber adjuster on top of the knuckle is loose on both sides at the rear because i put the half-shafts back in and didnt care to get it right as the car must have a thorough wheel alignement soon anyway, you could actually the camber changes in and out when the car moved :P
Looking for a 9" as well , so feel free to notice me if you know of any bargain on one..
#640
I'd like a 9" too....but Im sticking with the 8.8" !!
Biggest problem with the larger shafts ( ie, above 31 spline ) is that there doesnt seem to be very many LSD options.
Most of the Yanks run a spool with larger shafts. And they are just HORRIBLE !!!!
I ran a spool for a few months, never again !!!
I run 255/40x17 at the back now, although have used 255/50x16 drag radials, 265/45x16 and the 10.5" ET street.
Although I cut and welded the outer arch. Inner arch/chassis is original Ford.
Its hard to picture the wheels without a complete car, but they do look good
