Haha, shure did - I'm a survior you know
Well yeah, mostly been doing small bits, wires and boring stuff not of much picture value...
BUT, the lower front suspension arms needed some attention...they simply looked far to UGLY to deserve a final assembly to the car...
So we made a jig on the workshop iron table and got to work..
After a few hours we could start comparing a std. arm to the new ones...
Picture of the final build after all welding will follow... =)
Good night to ya'all =)

Just had to register over here after seeing it posted up on the Lexus boards, amazing work you're doing here! I was also at that ASOT400 night, was amazing, Armin was so much better than he'd been at Trance Energy! Looking at your location are any of you going to the Monday Bar Black & White Cruise? JOC & Tyas are on there along with Hornblad, Tala 2XLC and many other legends of the scene JOC is at Derby in June at Amplified along with a certain other Irish legend who likes a Smack and a Thump every now and then!!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks mate, we really try to do our utmost best here, it would be so cool to really be able to upset some supercars with the old granada, i still believe we can do just that, both in a straight line and in the curves.. =)
Love your escort project as well!!

Lexus boards?? Can you provide me with a link?
ASOT 400 was amaaazing! Armin got his mistake from trance energy(his set there wasn't any good) right at that night, I agree with you!
I would love to go to Monday bar again, but ASOT400 was my last party for a while - the "Grenade" is getting ALL of my spare time now
I might go to mystery land in holland in august and Sensation new years eve at LTU arena... we'll se..

We use 316 stainless steel and TIG-weld it all together.
We have good experience with the pure strenght and fatigue characteristics of theese materials, altough this particular part is blended with the pressed mild steel(most likely) outer part of the original granada lower arms.Thicknesses i dont recall right now...
All parts ready for the JIG and then getting TIG'ed
And voila :
cheers

I like them a lot

This picture gives an idea of how deep the wheel(wells??) actually are.
They start at the vertical bar to the right and outwards...
The rim fitted here is a 10x18 skyline wheel ET10 with 255's on it.
With this fitted there still is about 20cm(at the minimum) of space left innwards, so the biggest problem seems to be to find wide enough tires!! :P
