A ST170 one would never let you down and not bad for 30 quid

They have been used by zetec tuners and have been tested to well over 400bhp

I wish to get my own mk4 Escort to such a condition like this! I've dreamed about 1,8 zetec turbo on it, but maybe 1,6 cvh with turbo will be my choice.

The aim is 300, but I anit chasing figures to start with. . .

Wanna run 20psi minimum may aswell now I got the uprated gearbox . . .
TBH I think it may well exceed 300
We wont stop at that though, it will just be a starting point for future development . . . just gonna play about

I had the Rocker cover blasted a few weeks back, then dropped it off to be painted in body colour by Ade faultless work again . . . Engine builder wants to make a few finishing touches to it, abit of colour in the markings followed by facing and a quick polish up I think Nowt to fancy



Engines really coming on now, just waiting for a few more bits to arrive uprated valve springs, stud and nut kit, oil pump, breather blanking plate, replacement gudgeon pin due to being the wrong size ???

i love the different mk4s mmore than the 3 door ones too

estates, orions, pickups, vans even saw a camper van one round here, just something about thaem that makes them coller for me then the regualer ones

Parts are starting to really stack up at the back of the garage, will have to start fitting some of them to the car soon Spent another £400 quid on parts this week

i love orions, iv had a few. my best one was a mk2 90 spec g164 onc, was resprayed in caymen blue and had erst wheels...

Problem , the oil pump I had from Burton power wont fit, well it will, but its that poor the sump wont fit properly Gutted, this could delay the build abit
Burton power are having that pump back, now got 1 on back order from FORD at just shy of £200 quid Ouch!!!


Engine was gonna be back for this weekend

oh nah, mine was a blacktop 2ltr jobby, thought you was using the same engine as mine, but just rememberd it's someone else that is... mybad.
still cant beleive they've charged you £200 for one though, thats just madness!!
