lol roro, thanks I think
Tryin to blag a set of compomotive MO's for it
The calipers were still half gold like they are when they come new (electro plated?), just a bit tarnished so just wire brushed them, and painted silver hammerite!

Rab, You c*nt...
Hevangel...Not much better than Rab
Right...pair of eedjits, I couldnt be arsed updating this thread just been updating it on S1OC
although, not done all that much anyway
In short..
Stripped rear end cleaned hubs up, painted hubs silver, need 2 rear arms and poly bushes unless I can find the ones i've miss placed so decided to put the rear back together till I get 2 arms or a solution to do away with the arms and make it adjustable (just a cost thing really). So put the rear back together as it was with painted hubs and rear disc conversion in place, need to get some high tensile bolts before I put the brackets on for good and the calipers but brakes all ready to go together!.
Rear end back together for the moment just so I could use the jack to lift the front end:
Rusty discs, they'll clean up as there pretty new..
rear back together & on 4 wheels (not for long)
front end susp stripped
New 16i ARB/TCA's all poly bushed and new ford S/rack/track rod ends
Sound deadening in
Front inner wings painted:
Look a bit creamy but its just the light I was holding, camera flash was too much!
First thing to go back in the engine bay, fuse box holder!
all nicely sealed in too.
AAAH wiring loom back in place
bit of jiggery pokery to do herre and decide wether I still want to hide the wiring in the inner wing or not (probably will)
Dont want to look inside the car....
Nope I didnt....lol
Next things on the list, clean front hubs/brakes and fit all the front end suspension, Sort wiring inside car, fit steering colum/carpet/front seats/door cards trim etc etc minus dash for the moment.
fit front lights, cant decide wether to go orange indicators or new clear ones? already got new headlights.
Oh engines been bored for the LOW comp JE pistons, just need to pick it up!
Note the 4 valve cutouts incase I ever fire a zetec head on it...
See, not been THAT lazy....lol

Well I stuck in the heater matrix after a good clean and sealed it in nicely, played about with the wiring loom and loosely bolted the 16i cross member on!
Was going to do a bit tonight but far far toooo cold!
might stick in the carpet and front seats soon, bolt the cross member in properly after I paint the TCA's, fit steering rack once I get some poly bushes and clean/paint wiper motor linkage, fit and fit the heater blower...and try get the wiring down the inner wing.
just need some thermals

Alrighty, done a bit today with some help off my mate!
got some more sound deadening down, put the carpet in and bolted the rear seats in (now I found the bolts lol). got a few bits from the scrappy, rubber for in between both front doors that carry's the leccy window and lock wires, fitted the wiring into the doors...fun..not! put the bottom half of the door cards on the front doors, put the front washer bottle in and bolted the front crossmember up/painted the TCA's...got a fair bit done, probably do a bit more tommorow! get the hubs and calipers painted and build front suspension back up!

**Update**
Spammage, hows it goin? still gettin stuck into it (when Im not freezing )
left to do still are mainly:
Build engine
Decide what im doing with the rear suspension i.e. rose joint it or just paint original rear arms and poly bush it?
Build front susp back up (half way there)
Refit dash (need to get ECU and loom made up first as its going behind the dash)
Get some high tensile bolts for brakes all round
Brake and s/s fuel lines
paint/fit petrol tank
Buy intercooler of some sort and decide wether 2.5" or 3" pipework/throttle
Buy samco's, boost and coolant, but wont know what to buy till I need it really!
fit bodykit, will fit that last tho!
Couple of other odds and ends but thats about the gist of it.
Well done a bit tonight and painted front hubs and brakes/caliper carriers, also painted the wiper bracket/linkage enamel black! so I can get on with fitting it all, put the front struts and hubs back on the car for the moment but need to drill one lug out on the hub on each side to fit the spacer brackets for the caliper carriers to fit the cossie disc setup.
That lot took me 3hrs at least it's done!
Couple of pics...
Rear seats/carpet in
wiring done in doors and some new (well 2nd hand but good) grommets
Door cards on
Hubs painted
cossie disc
wiper linkage before and after (bad pic of after).
washer bottle in lol
Thats all for the moment, more to be done soon!
