Some little news... The exhaust was mounted and fits perfectly. I nearly finished the assembling so that after the paint is done I just have to complete the car...

So now I will dissassemble the car and start to prepare everything for the paintjob...

some impressions

love it Cyril, glad to see it's progressing.

Is that a new unit you're in or just round where the Opel was sitting?

i think they look fine, the straight edge at the very start of them (scuttle end) lines up with the strake down the bonnet and curves from there

amazing work well done, i can't wait for further updates.

with regards to the vents what about switching them round so the straight edge follows the line of the bonnet inside (the raised part) ? so that the curves are towards each other if you know what i mean

just an idea

Sorry for highjack.

Top job... I farken loved Dusseldorf - I was there for the Jazz Festival. The alstadt area was great... so many bars/pubs in the same area. Back there later this year for an extended work stay.
