Ok ok ok... here some news/updates:
I still work hard every weekend and it's going on very well...
I finished:
- the coilover setup
- the brakes including discs (as it is 5 hole right now)
- the brake tubes
- engine bay (except air filter box)
- new console for the seats
- reposition of the steering wheel
- drive shaft (shortened)
To-Do List for the next weeks:
- rear stabilisator
- fuel setup
- dash board
- exhaust
- battery setup
- handbrake
- and some other stuff
That's it for the moment folks...

no... the standard escort/sierra header tank doesn't fit anymore... and I like the new place much more... makes it all more clean

Not really... At the moment I'm preparing my dashboard for flocking... as it is from the mark 5 modell it was cut in pieces and laminated together agin... so I have to enforce it before it can be send away for flocking...
I still wait for some parts...

This weekend I am going to finish the battery and fuel setup.
Some nice goodies arrived today
After that, the shell will be prepared for priming and the underside will be finished...

Yeah... it will be noisy
But honestly: I have a straight cut gearbox, 3 fuelpumps running behind the seats, 3" mongoose exhaust, so I don't care if the diff also makes some noise... it's a race car
But you can make a diff mount with some bushings...
Actually, I didn't raised the diff... it is at its original position like it is in the Sierra. As I kept the MK3 rear floor, I moved the rear beam more to the back and welded a new diff mount.
Others use the Sierra rear floor also, and this one is higher...

That makes perfect sence mate , I'm gonna mount the diff hanger box section on top of the original chassis leg so as to get the diff high enough so that i can run a nice ride hight and still have the drive shaft point a few degrees downwards, and not have stupid camber

Last weekend I finished the fuel setup and battery setup. Also the fuseholder has been mounted so that I can finish the wiring the next days.
So I am nearly finished with the inside of the car...
