Here is a few pics of my engine. It started off as doing the gaskets as there was an oil leak just before mot, typical, dunno how it got threw the MOT as it left a trail from one end to the other and a puddle of oil when it was on the ramp but he passed it anyway and said i needed ot get it looked at.

Took the engine out in november and discovered that one of the main bearings wasnt great. So got the crank polished and had to get the block decked by 5 thou as it was scratched on the bench. Also got it honed and got the head skimmed ever so slight to clean it up.





So after discovering the bearing i decided to replace all bearings apart from the small ends as i was told mine were fine. Changed the piston rings and also every sensor on the engine plus every gasket.

Here;s few pics of it nealry done now. I still have to do the rocker cover and also a few new clips on the pipes etc arent changed yet.
