Dave you really know how to write an essay
The fuel pump carrier was Ł38+ VAT retail I think, but it has been modified now from metal to an all in one plastic design. Apparently the pump is quite a tight fit but at least it wont rust away.
Im just doing the car for myself too mate. I like to keep my stuff to myself really. It's only because Damo really wanted me to put a thread up that I did otherwise it wouldn't have been so public. I do not plan to show it, unless someone changes my mind, because I really think it isn't for me afterall. I plan to keep the car forever so I want it to last. That is my main motivation for this work as I don't want it to be rusting away before I have finished paying for it.
