Maybe they did that to get it to make loads of boost for the dyno? I know on some yb rallyx engines they used to unplug one (and sometimes both) of the air injectors in the final supercar races to make mega boost an prayed it stayed together
Maybe they put them in upside down to stop them leaking boost? Have you taken the injectors out of the bodies to see if they have been "modified"?
I was just thinking that too!

Hi Andy,
Car looks great, loads of work gone in there!
One quick question, I am looking at that air filter unit you have there, how do you stop the warm after from after the intercooler entering the airfilter? Do you have some way of sealing it off and adding cold air from somewhere or is that not something you worry about?
Cheers,
RW

Why didn't you use the swedish one (any idea what make)?
Not sure if pace still suggest not to run the crankcase in vacuum to save the std oil seals, is yours completely sealed to run in vacuum or vented to run at zero pressure at most?
I don't see a lower friction / more efficient pump saving 10hp over your pace BG so i'm guessing they run a 4+stage / bigger rotors for more vacuum, any idea what the difference was?

i was going to run a boost gauge on the crank case to see if it can cope if not then i will need to run a vent, maybe with a check valve
