From watching this from day one i bloody hope as im sure andy does Harvey pulls his finger out and gets that engine sent up in time..

Awesome project.
Couldn't the floor pan have been made out of a slightly more exotic material than mild steel? I'm guessing there's a fair bit of weight there in something that doesn't give much structure. Or serve much of a purpose apart from the obvious.
Also, you said 20-30kg's of paint.
Surely that's not the case. I mean, 10-15 litres total would paint the whole of this car and that would have a dry weight of well under 10kg's.

Probably using the MO's just due to thier strength. Mag wheels, although light and reasonably strong, tend to crack easily and do not last very long. WRC teams only use wheels for a max of 2 events before selling thiers.
