yes very nice indeed. not only the mk2 leather steering wheel would be good, but the mk2 upper dash surround looks much more modern and a nicer shape (the bit with the vents)
nice to see a proper mondeo project, not many people do them. done properly they are very nice cars. unfortunately most people stick loads of led's, stickers, painted bits, lexus lights and cheap tatt on them which has give them a bad name. hopefully this reyland one may inspire some of the mondeo modding scene back into the right direction!
I love this sort of thing brining the cars back from the dead, ive done a few myself and i dont know about you but it feels better brining them back than when you first do them
, a mk2 mondy steering wheel fits straight on and the rim is thicker and thus far more comfortable, look for a low mileage ghia model as that one is leather.
steve
Will try and find one that's in good condition, thanks for that.

Maybe for a Ghia Mk2 leather one as mentioned above, I like the sort of standard look when someone looks through the window.

Would never happen, no one smokes in my cars unless they are actually on fire.
Cool car!! What are thoes seats? They are from mondy?
Greets
They are re-trimmed EVO 5 seats (which are very similar to an aftermarket recaro seat) with Recaro frames... Bolt straight in

Agreed ... I put a resto post up on a Mondeo forum and it's at 3 pages right now but a guys thread who has put some pictures of his Mondeo with mud splattered up the sides after wheel spinning in the mud is at 4 pages I'm better of leaving the resto post updates here I think!!

i know exactly what you mean mate, i've been doing more interesting/involved mods on mondys for the last few years (nothing quite on your scale though!) and its like banging my head against a wall on mondeo forums, i can post up on there with something like my supercharged zetec install (was the first in the UK on a mondeo silvertop) and get a handful of replies. someone else posts up some crock who has just painted their door handles inside all funny colours, put some led's in, and a sticker on the back and they get 5 pages of replies. the more major mods seem to be over most of their heads.
and then they all moan on the forums that mondeo's have a bad name in the modding scene, and that the ford mags arent interested in them lol
