grp a piece of shit you have to cut a section out to fit the mirror inside of it and then bond the fooker in waste of fooking time if you ask me not only that when you do this you still cant see nothing out of them

very true , i bought these for the rs2000 and thats what he sent me ...lol... RS2000 totaly different top mounts

so rather than me send them back i thought they might come in handy for the 3dr but now they have come in handy for the escort

i still prefere the grp a ones tho

 

whats the quailty of them like, hope there better than the brakes

wont be out yet for a while , dog version is out but you will need to get a mt75 rwd version to fit it in

basically they do 3 versions of the mt75

1st, 4wd mt75

2nd rwd mt75

3rd fwd mtx75



all the gears that will fit in the 4wd mt75 will fit into the 2wd mt75

not in the fwd mt75

So for dunce's like me is this a viable upgrade from a T5 for my 2wd Saph?

to be honest if your runnig about 350bhp the normal T5 will last

if your runnig abit more power than that , then the T5 could let go any time it's just pop luck if it lasts or not


the Mt75 rwd gearbox is a striaght bolt in but i think you have to mod the propshaft , you also have to go a a 4wd starter motor

you would still be looking at 3k for the striaght cut box (syncron and a bit extra for the dog version

LOL........ thats what they sent , i told them the i would send a top mount from the Rs2000 mk5 so they could make some up

bringing my 3dr but wont be on track

 

quick update this sunday


Dan patch welded on the battery tray big thanks mate







kev etched primer then normal primerd it





after that dryed i sealed it








engine bay ready for full primer respray











after the engine bay painted in primer I then attacked the sills to see what they are like and they are solid

i go the wire wheel on the grinder and took it down to bare metal





i then took the doors off and rear windows , took the tailgate off











better pics of the rear arches painted










next week primeing both sills then re painting them
