So again a little update..
The bodyshop where the car will get his respray has vacation now. So car wil go there next week. For that time i got some little things to do. So again some packages arrived and I just bought a GRS intercooler 2nd hand.

Here some pics from some work from the past week

Does anybody know who you can set timing without having the arrow on the pully? I have the degree bow, but don't know what to do now?

Yeah They still need to be drilled. I will do it later because i only know the hight of the sideskirts when everthing is fitted the right way. The sideskirts have deformed in the time they have been stalled. So i didn't want to take the risk of the arches not matching nice with the sideskirts so the holes will come later on. No problem there won't be damage on the bodywork i will take care of that

Thanks for the comments

Again some pics to show some of the progress that we made this weekend. Still had some things that weren't fixed or still needed to be bought like, nuts & bolts and the 1 mm spacers for the front brakes. But now the Front and Rear are finished. Next is the engine that will go in, but i will need to do some things before we can drop it in.

Here are the pics that i took

Don't take a look @ the wheels they still need to go to for a respray

Love the front brakes! They look stunning imo!

Now the engine was in we could start to work and see some progress. Finally things start to come together and it's getting in to the right way.

But also i have some small problems to that maby some one can help with!

#1 I have bought a GRS intercooler with a 10 inch fan. I also have a oilcooler and raised the bonnet. Will this be enough to keep the temps down?

#2 Is there anybody or a company that sells the mounting for your rad when you have a full front IC? They only come with new one? Can't you buy them alone?

#3 I have installed the tank again but now i have a cable that i can't remember where to go? it's the cable that's hanging lose on the photo!

Now some pics of the progress @ the moment
Exhaust in place

Engine with other parts installed

Connecting the cable loom

IC with new front bumper for fitment

Today some parts got a fresh layer of paint and will be dry tomorrow so probably there will be some nice progress again. Also i will go to the dealer one of these days to order some bits and pieces to finish it of nice!

Will keep you updated

Oke, Update time!

Some time went past and i had time to finish some little things that always stayed unfinished. I really hated that so time to finish some things off. Like fixing my loom. Some bits had been cut or just broke off Brought my IC to someone to let them weld on some new strips to mount it nice to the chassis. Finally got my rad in place so also i could connect all the waterhoses. Bought all new hoseclamps, and damn those are expensive if you need quite a lot of them

So alot of time wasted with looking how things had to be and where i could get all the parts and what was the best looking.

BUT IMO WHERE ALMOST GETTING THERE

The Startmotor has to be connected and some hoses have to be fitted. The IC has to be fitted and i have to find some place for my oilcooler. Then i have to finish off some of the electrics and fuellines to the petroltank and i'm almost there to make a test run with the engine!

So time for some pics to let you guys get a idea of the car at the moment

Mess from the loom in the car

New New New

All new clamps and clips ect

Hoses connected

Rad in place

Easy way to check the electrics when you didn't label your loom when you started *i can allmost kill myself for doing that, but didn't know what i started at the beginning*

I just found some old photo's of my car on a meeting.

Looking forward to sunday to go to EFE and maybe coming back with some new gifts for myself

Update time!

now there's progress again

Engine will be running in a short time, i hope everything will be going well and no problems or failures :O

Also started on the inside putting the dash in

Just look at the pics

changed the position of the fan, because i couldn't close the bonnet earlier

Oilcooler mounted

Still need to give the hoses a nice place and tiewrap them nice so they don't hang lose

Headlights are in again

Bumper is on again, but i need to cut a little bit away because of the fan, so it doesn't fit nice atm

And the dashboard is in again, a different one then i had, because this one has no holes

i hope that i can tell you guys during my next update that the engine is running fine

today some one helped my out with all the wiring in the car and now the mess is gone! really pleased with that! also my new park plugs gone in NGK bcr8es ones, recemended by alot of people here. So ill give them a try!

In the comming days the IC will need to go a little bit back and make that fit; fix the wiring and the dash; pick up my vacum hoses when they arrive and lots of other little things before we can try to start

didn't update the thread for a long time, because of i have done alot but not much progres to see. But i think it well enough time for a nice new update. I'm still working on the engine those things are hard to get right when you have problems to start them!

Hope tomorrow brings something goods for me

So now the update in pics

IC is in place and fan has enough space the turn

This is the car outside just for a good overview on things.

inside of the car

I already done something on the audio that will come in the car, but i have no pics yet.

To do list is:

Let engine run
Getting all side skirts and everyting on
finish milion of little things
finish off inside of the car
also i don't know if this snap off steeringwheel will stay in the car. I'm not sure about the looks, but the system works wel as anti theft..
