first i must say that this might be a slow resto thread, but ill try my best to keep it up to date

just so you know my car

i had a ah hour free tonight, so before the light faded i thought i would get out there and make a start





i havent really finalised a spec yet, but at the moment, im thinking 8mm longer rods, custom pistons for the rods 7.2:! compression ratio, 26.5mm inlet ports, 25 mm exhaust ports, gt 30 turbo (not sure if im going to use internal or external wastegate version! 2wd manifold with custom secondary pipe, custom inlet (undecided how im going to go about this) ford head gasket with wire ring block, standard head studs, i also got an intresting gearbox idea, which but not sure how long this is going to take to work

i change my plans with the spec daily, as i really like 8:1 t34 so it could engine up standard

 

you getting the bodywork done aswell Gareth?

don't take too long with it.

 

there isnt that much that really needs doing on the body, (boot spoiler really)

im going to try my best with it,, but works crazy at the mo (and not with homers )

ive decided on spec aswell,, most wont be impressed! 7.2:1, t34, by doing just a nice rebuild, it wont eat into my f355 fund

there was a small rattle from cold,,, the engines had a hard life, its run over 35 psi and fuel poured down its bores, and many other miss use

i think i am gonna change mine to a t34 when i get back from cyprus too, get some more ooooomph out of it for the fuel
