Default my DIY seat Retrim

ive posted this on fiestaturbo.com but id like to show you guys aswell!!

i got annoyed with the prices of retrims so i looked into doing this myself, there was no info anywhere, so i was doing this with no idea of what i was doing but after a few trys i got the hang of it and came out with this!!!

im not to sure on the white as yet it was just an idea, im thinking of doing the bit that you sit on and the back bit in a different material something thats abit more grippy, well thanks for looking anyway!!

dose look damn good mate considering its your first is a major inspiration for me as i fancy some slight interior trimming modificiations :P

didnt use real leather was expensive and too hard to work with, with what machine ive got anyway!! i used an immatation that to me looks and feels the same just no smell!!! i got it for £6 a mter bargin!!!!!

That does look pretty damn good.

Did you pull apart the old materials to copy the shapes etc?

Default D.I.Y retrim

looks good mate not as hard as people think is it. much better than
paying someone £500.00 plus. heres my d.i.y retrim it took about
a month just doin a few hours after work a couple of nights a week.
cost £200.00 all in (all the leather, foam padding and thread)

Alright again.

Just a quick question if ya dont mind because ive got some recaros i wana wash the fabrics on - how did you reattach the cloth to the centre sections of foam because they have some sketchy looking stables in them

where can you buy the material from please and where would you be able to get some piping from aswell,also how would you go about putting the piping on aswell,would you just have to take a bit more time getting it in the right place before you sew it together,looks good by the way

Beautiful retrims there guys, a very big to you. I'll be attempting something very similar soon hopefully, but what fake leather did you use dawsRS?
