The car wasen't painted by himself, he just helped out on the prep. It was actually painted by someone in the trade who does the odd re-spray on the side

The option of taking the kit off when paining was considered but due to the fact it had never been off before and was therefore a perfect fit and had the original black rivots + being unsure whether the fit would be as good again afterwards.
So he decided to paint it with the kit on, the paint didn't really seam to collect on the seam and it didnt crack although it may have done over time?
The paint finish was absolutley perfect with no dust in the paint at all

Cheers for telling me you were putting pics of my car up john you had to put that gay pic up aswell didn't ya
Thanks for the comments lads, it is a right shame, i'd only had it looking how i wanted for a few months
The conditions weren't brilliant in his garage but it was a very good job and an absolute bargin at 500 quid.
I wanted to take the kit off and do some arch work but i'd just heard too many stories about the kit never going back on right, and the guy who was spraying it ashored me that it would be ok.
Hensenturbo- its lowered 45mm mate

WutangRS - just do a search for posts by dannyc, i called it 'Thursday was the worst day of my life'.
The interior cost me £400, the guy who did it isn't very professional, if he just sorted his life out he could charge double cos it was a good retrim.
