i've recently had a bad spell and my pride and joy was trashed when the trailer it was on jacknifed. i now have a 2litre zetec engine 3D management, carbs, cossie 4pots, the lot. just no shell. i'm thinking maybe a mk 2 fiesta, race style, basic interior, stripped out that kind of thing. Or maybe the same idea in a mkIII/IV escort. what do you think? i really wanna beat my mates escortRST, he's just spent a small fortune on rebuilding it and i wanna shut him down oin the pod.

 

Yep, I was thinking along the lines of a mk2 but just love the escorts too much. Why not scrap the cards and turbo it?? You mate must have a pretty descent spec, sorry bout the car, gutted.

Was gonna do something similar myself. Couldn't decide between fiesta mk2 or escort mk3. The fiesta's are light and go like stink with a quick engine in 'em. But i prefer the shape of the escort !! So i decided on a rs1600i, started looking around for one, then come across a s1 turbo with 77k one owner, which i bagged for £3500 But still like the idea of a quick normally aspirated motor stripped !!!! Gotta say go with a mk3 escort cause i love the shape/look of 'em !!!!!!
