Right troops bit of an update , now up early this morning and dropped the exhaust to stop anything gettingin the road of the head , mate NUTTIN RILLA got some 12mm rod to line up the head with the block without any problems , head went on a treat not a problem , THEN found out the headblts ive had for the last month are the wrong type , washers are too big 
anyway a few pics , looks good to have something back in there 
All new belts , crank pulley was a nightmare to get off ( rad dropped )
Cleaned and head gasget on , bolts to help line it all up
The sight ive been waiting for , cant wait to se how it will look finished
A pic of the poor thing , holding up ok after a few months sitting in the street all be it a bit dirty, compo mo`s sitting ready to go on

Think the 17's will probs be mostly the same, ET35 I think arnt they for a 2wd Sierra, same as my Saph?

Yeah its ok , alot of work has been put in to it now mate , looking back it wasn`t the greatest but getting there now
Original panels and solid thats the main thing everything else can come in time

Ano mate am gutted could of been on the road running mid-week at latest now need to order up bolts etc and get a good day to do it all again
Only plus is i can get the ones i wanted in the first place

Car started for the first time last night about 7pm when it was dark , was going to leave it to morning one it got dark but knew i probably couldn`t sleep if i hadn`t turned the key and knew for sure
Jump leads on to it and first turn of key she fired up
to my amazment , and sounded great , beter than it did when it was on the road before this happened , maybe something to do with the silkolene who knows , but to say im happy is an understatment , me and my mate nuttin rilla were out there early doors to about 8pm last night , was some shift but got there in the end
It looks so different to me now under there from back a few months ago when i bought it , heres a couple of when i got it , really dirty and the blue was horrible ! mix and match hoses etc , quite pleased how its came along
Once i got it , decided to clean the dirt that seemed to be everywhere
A better view , blue wasn`t cool pictures do it justice actually
And 5pm last night , nearly there , will get a finished one with strut brace , turbo damper etc on and a bit of a clean up , but you get the idea

Hahah , not got a pic lads , the rain is lashin down here and cant drive t cos of this suspect hub or whetever , but there will b e one soon as , it does look good so dont worry lol

A quickie tonight in the petrol station , cars so dirty just now but you can see the improvment over the other wheels 
poor quality with the phone , but so much wider at rear than the last efforts
Should of got one from front , the new headlights really make a difference to the look , but will get it all polished up on the next nice day and get some proper ones

A hard job in the street but we fought wind rain and snow to do that and im going to take my hat of to my self and rab as were not mechanics but were defo not stupid or afraid of trying
This car is getting better by the day and now that weve concored the head the sky`s the limit
I`m the most confident person in the world and i new just some how that this would be perfect and it was, no tappety noise`s or anything just silence, I`m chuffed to bits
I cant wait for the summer as we`re going to be driftin, smokin, straight west coastin.
