Well, I've picked the colour now, basically said hurry up and do it lol, side skirts need making longer, and the front still needs work doing, only major hurdle is the rear bumper, Want something different as the one's available don't look right, and sit a little high. So I might have to attempt to fashion something together...

although I'll tell you what, the Mk5/6 shell isnt the best one to do it with, the focus at least has enough clearance in the back and chassis rails in the right place!

I popped my head in yesterday whilst in the area, to see how its going.
I'm amazed (hah) It's got a base coat grey on the underneath, inside & engine bay now. All that's left before I collect it is to do a high-quality finish in the outside color (Silver) in the engine bay. I'll be getting the outside painted at a later date. Then I'll start putting it together. Will have the car back at the start of May.

More than a year, to be honest I wasn't in a rush for it to be done, I've got some time where I can work on it so I'm gonna do some bodystuff myself and fit the running gear etc.

The only thing that's not fitted in those latest photo's are the skirts, rear bumper & spoiler. It's probably not going to have any front bumper/wings on for a while - don't want to damage them fitting the engine!
