Not yet really, not managed to get down there for a while

I've removed the sunroof for when its painted and thats it!

I'll hopefully be going down there this week to sort some more bits and bobs out!

Just a quick question.....

You have them wings on the front with the front bumper and morrettes which looks spot on but for me i think its going to look a bit od with the rear arches as they are 2 seperate kits.
Are you leaving it like this or going cossie rear flared arches aswell as i think it would look alot better in my eyes?

Other than that it looks awesome and can see alot of time, money and effort has gone into this tho.....

 

OH god no, then it would be like every other cossie kitted orion, the choice of front arches were to be as wide as the rears, it's not intended to be an escort cosworth rep, although i had to change the front panels due to the wheel base, so didnt have much choice.

the rear arche's are not really another kit, they were custom made, and the front had thinner cyclone arches originally.

I need to look at sourcing some sapphire cosworth vents or similar to fit in the bonnet though, otherwise i suspect it might get a bit warm!

Im thinking of seeing how much room i've got to fit 2 side exit exhausts just infront of the rear wheels (in the skirt) and making the rear bumper deeper, with a large diffuser type design in it... what dya think ?

 

I've got a pair of white 4x4 vents!

 

 

looking at the shape/profile of the bonnet, i think 3dr vents wouls suit it best

 

always had a soft spot for the orion, mainly mk4 but a mk5 cossie wil always get my thumbs up lol, good work fella

Nah not yet Steve,unless they've done anything since I was last there, They are just making up brackets for the mud flaps and altering the side skirts to fit better, as well as finishing off the front arches.

I'm not sure, I might prefer the 4x4 vents, I need to think about that one. Any chance you could take them with you one day, and let me know so i can have a look ?

Are the leather recaros out of a granada? look like granada scorpio ones, i was gona get a set of them at one time.

 

Nah they are out of an Escort Cosworth that had done about 15k before it got wrote off worth a fortune I think as they are like brand new !

the boss and his son were hmmmm not so good at running the workshop

they were more concerned about filling the workshop full of there own cars,
doing jobs for cash with next to no profit and treating the staff like shit

Well, I've picked the colour now, basically said hurry up and do it lol, side skirts need making longer, and the front still needs work doing, only major hurdle is the rear bumper, Want something different as the one's available don't look right, and sit a little high. So I might have to attempt to fashion something together...
