This project is an absolute inspiration!!!!!!!
The finish is like new and it looks like a car your 17 year old son brought off a grandad and cherished as his first motor, only its an ultimate street sleeper on top of it all!!!!!!
If you dont mind my asking, how did you line it all up accurately?

Can you not build on the existing cage rather than buy a whole new lot??
Sure someone good like Lee @ Fusion would be able to help.
Are you gonna keep the two rear wheels for spares if you need wider ones or sell on?
How will wider rears affect the 4x4 if at all?
Oh..and another question ( ). Do you not feel that even with bigger steelies fitted and standard rear lights, the car has definately lost the sleeper look? I'm not doubting the rebuild or the top notch work carried out as I think it is absolutely spot on and looks the bollox: but do think it's lost more of the sleeper look compared to before. What's your thought on it?

I think I would have powder coated the cage black, so as not to draw so much attention to...
I know what you mean about what you HAVE to do with the brakes etc when you get to a certain power level, but it REALLY did look so subtle with the steelies on.
Now people will just think it has just had a CVH turbo transplant, boy will they get a shock....

As mike said tjey will still get a shock no-one will think its a 4X4 cossie lump in there, get the cage matt blacked and just because it has alloys wont give away its real power, how many cars do u see with alloys on these days dont mean there all running monster engine specs does it?

............
Hate the wheels and raised bonnet
Big steelies and a matt black cage will return some of its appeal
I have some Grey Ford Racing Ka versions of those seats that would look a lot more subtle in your car in my Blue fiesta hint hint lol

looks classmate,
a set of wella steel wheels would have fit over thosebrakse, they are made for that sort of job and at a super cheap price,
is still going to be a sleeper as said, if you drove up next to my misses saxo, its just lowered and with a set of 15s, does not look anything special other than clean, which is all it is,
and people will think the same when they first se yours, well untill the loud pedal is unleashed lol,
or someone has a good exhaust and engine note ear,
