Hi, just wondering if there is a reason for the alloy hubs (i.e Camber), I'm in the middle of building a Mk4 RWD cossie and having a bit of a head ache with a lot of negative rear camber, Also would you by any chance have picture of the rear drive shaft angles when the car is sat on the ground, This would be a MASSIVE help to me.

and they are lighter to, unsprung weight is a very good saving point to make your car handle a bit better

I'll probably get shot down in flames for this! but...
I don't think the sleeper look works on this anymore and that it would be more suited to either fast road look or full track look.
Doesn't have to go down the S1 route either but nice wheels and side exit would make this look insane!
Just my opinion of course, I know it's in the history books already as "The Sleeper" but cars can evolve too.

Was thinking the same before I got to the end of this post, sleeper just doesn't work anymore, wide tyres, intercooler clearly visible, carbon roof, cage etc, its all a bit too obvious now. Not that it's a problem, but unfortunately it could never pull off a 1.3 look anymore!

I was up with Wenny last week commissioning the engine/ECU and setting up the AIM dash/sensors.
We went for a 30mph run around town just to check everything was working and you could see people turning round on the pavement to see what was making the noise. Sequential gearbox has a nice "whine, clunk, whine etc." soundtrack.
I don't think a single person settled their eyes on this car, everyone was still looking around for something more 'sporty'.
At the pod over the weekend a huge number of people came over and said that they loved how understated the car was...
I know there are 'clues' to its performance, but they're not blindingly obvious at first glance
