the cage is waiting for gussets for the A & B pillers so pics should be up some time this week

how was the shell coping with all that power and no cage,must be surely pulling it apart,300+cvh engines give the shell grief,let alone 500+cossie lump, had it been seem welded previously

No signs of it pulling or coming apart anywhere, its not seam welded.

Yeh its been done well, the 2 old blokes who did the 4 wheel alignment on it commented on how well the shell was done and they have been building & working on race cars for longer than ive been alive lol. Only thing we had started to notice was a little flex in the shell as it comes off the line it was starting to lift a front wheel, so it should be alot stiffer now with the cage

Sounds like a lot of planning and prep work went into it in the first place, can't wait to see how well it goes when it is all up and running.

That cage looks awesome, should make a hell of a difference to the car but the sleeper look has totaly gone now hasn't it.
