Just my penny's worth.......

I had the fortune to be taken out in this with Mike Rainbrd at the wheel, talk about Dr Jekil and Mr Hyde!!

The car properly goes! the set up on the car is amazing! One hot lap with Rainbird while they were setting the suspension up was enough for me to fear for my life, the car just sucked it up! I didnt say one word while he was driving!

Its an animal, you see this behind you on a track day........

MOVE! As it will be passing you!

this is very cool, what made you decide on the Audi engine? aside from the obvious turbo?

what engine would it use originally?

what are you planning to use it for?

I really need to update this thread Early last year it threw a rod at Brands so a new engine was fitted with H section rods, special valves and a big port head.. It's been 100% reliable since I have also fitted AP 6 pots to the front. It's just been taken off the road for a ex manifold and turbo swap, new injectors, ecu and after a remap more power. Will get some more pictures up later today.

Audi engine was my choice for various reasons but mainly because it left the factory as a turbo engine (so development already done by manufacturer), it's compact and very tunable.

The car originally had a 1400cc K series as it ran in a specific class.

It's being used as a track car.
