it was the bits for this car or a Fix-it/ mullet gearbox for the escort cos....the mk.2 won.
not sure on when it will be finished, depends on how much overtime i do again.
may have to work away for a bit and it will never get done.
don't think it will be ready for the summer but aybe late in the year, see how it goes.

had a bit stashed away.
hopefully the 2wd boxes wll last a bit longer than the 4wd boxes.
done a bt more on it today....
taking most of the paint off and may be taking it to bare metal, see how good the shell is under it, be better for Neil the sprayer too prep it all for the paint.
do more tomorrow
may be getting a roll over jig hopefully, then going to start the underneth getting all the underseal off, what a job.

thanks.
i was going to get the shell burnt.
the lads at RACE know a place where they heat up the shell to get everything off it...everything!
was going to get this done but is the hassle of transporting the shell there, getting the time to get it there etc....
just went and bought a sander and a gallon of Nitromors.
give me something to do while i'm off.
thanks.

10K+ Poster!!
Looks like its done the trick though.
I done a engine bay on a nova with nitromors and it come up mint, a bit messy though and the occasional skin contact isn't the nicest feeling

Dave,
You my friend, are a scholar and a gent
We've put the gearbox in this evening and its a completely different car.
I'll put the exhaust on at the weekend and start saving for some wings,
thanks again mate, wish there were more like you about.
Top looking project by the way, its gonna be a weapon

no problem at all Dave, was only going to get thrown away so the bits might aswell get re-used.
glad the car is better now.
