Thanks everybody.
Didn't take many pictures this weekend. For started Saturday morning finishing off plumbing the engine in filling up with fluids checking everything over ready for its start up.
After a few electrical issues. Firstly starter motor wiring had broken then the cps pins had come out of the plug. That took me nearly all day to find!! She started,,, the engine sounds sweet as and runs like a dream.
Next job was to bleed the brakes and clutch.
Clutch bled perfect. Brakes didn't!!
Couldn't get any fluid out of the rear brakes. So it was a case of tracing the fittings back. All ok. Hydraulic handbrake was ok. I bought a bias valve a couple of years back from compbrake and it was complete blocked. Luckily my friend dan Williams had a spare in he's garage. So with this fitted all of the brakes bled perfectly.
Today the car moved under its own steam for the first time since Christmas.
Now it is a case of getting the alignment done this week then up to msd next weekend then the first race is the weekend after
Also Dave twins has been making these headlights for me.

Obviously your changing the lights to save a bit of weight, do Time Attack have any regulations about lights at all?
What are you expecting the final weight will be of the vehicle? im guessing power around 450bhp?

As someone else noted Ronnie, it's a nice evolution taking place.
Your enthusiasm for the project shines through.
I've dipped in an out of the thread over time, but I can't recall if you've ever tackled the whole wiring loom (either for reliability or weight saving). Is this something you've done or would consider?
Will also be very interested to hear how the handling moves on with the MK rear beam this season.
Cheers
Iain

It's comming along, I've had to do some miles in if before I can show it any boost as the engine has done no miles, I've had the cam cover off and had to dial the cams as they were a mile away from where I wanted.
Fresh oil went in today, cold start is good, cruise and idle is almost done, time for some boost now let's hope the snow stays away
