you guys with the mark 1 orions can you help me get rid of mine thay are both ghia models i need to get rid of them so i can start doing my s2. one has a full r.s kit and is an unfinished project the other ive had for 10 years but never used it . email me for more info on evansford8@aol.com

Cos you have seperated the the rear axle from the sierra floor plan you are gonna have problems welding that lot in all square!
if you are not careful it will end up driving like a crab!
Can i suggest taking the time to build a jig that you can bolt the compnents to before welding into the escort body?
Did a rear engine 205 once and built jig that ran under the shell and bolted on to the front subframe mounting points and the same place on the rear subframe/secton that was being welded in the back. As long as the jig is is square (measure the diagonals between pick up points) and you have to assume the original shell is then you will end up with a square car!
Just my two cents!

hi blakey did you have to narrow the floor pan of the sierra as i read in a mag its wider than escort, as i have just bought mk3 escort shell with gartrac arches that i am going to cossie i will post some pics once i get camera working, could you please post some more pic's please

I doubt there will be any updates mate, Lee has just moved out and bought a house with his mrs`s, he also has atleast 2 jobs so i dont think he will have much time on his hands.
Iam pretty sure the whole project was for sale a while ago.
