some good progress made this week and the end is that little closer to being in sight! Firstly thanks to Paul from passionford for coming round and adjusting the wiring to the car. And yet again alex for removing the gearbox today. i can still smell gearbox oil even after a shower.
anyway here are some pics. finally got the head back off Ian when all the trouble was finished with kents. and a top job hes done. just had to give it a quick coat of paint to match the block and then it was fitted. Although it looks like not alot of progress has been made from last time but ive had to make a custom alternator bracket to fit the new set up and then more polishing was involve blah blah blah. Engine should be ready to go back in next weekend hopefully. Just need to clean up the gearbox and bolt the clutch and engine to it.
hope you like!!!!

Right then guys and gals! Had some progress witht the Rs last weekend and only just had time to post up the pics. To sum up, engine and gearbox is all in now along witht the wiring loom (be it it needs a tidy up but i need to source where the cables need to reach to first!) Anyway nowe all thats left is a few minor bits and bobs to do over the next week or two and then its off to grove, when they get my special injectors and chip mapped for me
oh and look how close the new pulley is to the bodywork now. so happy i had it machined first
Any way hope you enjoy
