update time!
took some more random pics as you can see but also got the front wings off tonight! wee bit of rust on the inner wings but nothing the welder cant sort pics-

more pics.
done a bit more tonight got the rest of the plastic out of the inner arches and front end. also got the side trims on the gutters off too but 4got pics. tommorow al get the sunroof out then the headlining and put the sunroof back in coz all the work is done outside n thats where it sits at night lol.

and all the bits n bobs on the roof of my dads office lol-

bit more done tonight
got the headlining out, mirrors off, ALL of the wiring loom!, handbrake setup, wiper mechanism, brake resevoir and degassing chamer out. actually got a lot more done than i expected but got a dilema now- do i take the engine and box out while its outside or wait until the garage is clear and drop the lot with the subframe?
anyway heres the pics-

Fair play to you mate! I salute you for taking on (and doing!) such a project at such a young age. The only way you learn is by doing it - and it would seem you'll have a head-start on most!

both jobs were a pain in the @rse lol got the exhaust off (downpipe back) and got the front to rear brake pipes off too.

decided Im respraying it ford radiant red
was just wondering (sure i read somewhere) that hammerite red is nearly the same? is this true? also the plans for the underside are to strip it sort any rust zinc primer it stonechip it then hammerite over the top? is this enough protection? cheers for any help folks

cheers mate much appreciated any ideas how much primer, paint and laquer I'll need to do the whole car? (inside outside engine bay) and how much zinc primer, stonechip and hammerite I'll need for the floor? Also any ideas how much that little lot will roughly cost? cheers

just bought a red sparco 3 point harness on ebay for Ł30 and bidding on a car cover as where Im keeping the car just now aint ideal and my dads too busy to get the car in the garage so looks like it will have to sit outside (hence the cover) hopefully some progress tommorow if the weather gets better

bit more done tonight
cut a brake pipe (woah! steady lol) got the carpet and sound deadning/tar off the rear arches, took off the boot seal, door seals and front side window trims. Also removed the trim bit thing that the heater hoses go through, the bonnet bump stops and the aerial. Heres some pics fones fookin up so theres more to come-

more pics from yesterday here folks. Looks like the enormous power of the beast has been trying to rip the front end off the car going by the look of the sealer holding the front inner wings on! lol more welding to be done there then aswell as the aerial hole...

Cool project, remember when i used to rag about in my 5 but now its just gathering dust in the lockup.
Think i should really break it up and sell it cos i just don't have time for it and would rather spend money on the sierra anyway. I really liked it even tho nobody else did, lol

bit more done tonight.
got my car cover through so I could crack on with getting more bits stripped off got the sunroff out and both rear quarter windows (found some more of the dreaded rust lol also removed the rubber thing from around the filler neck to inspect for any more rust (luckily its mint) ordered 30 sq feet of sound deadening off ebay too (alluminium dynamat type stuff to replace the heavy standard sh1te lol anyway heres the pics-

well heres the latest purchase-
got a 20 quid halfrauds voucher for my bday ages ago so got it for 60 quid which I thought was good for the quality of the thing. Got some bubble wrap so Im wrapping up the windows tonight to clear some space.

well heres an update on what I done tonight folks.
first off some pics of my new steering wheel and then decided to do a bit to the car. Got all the windows (part fae the windscreen cos its bonded in) out and wrapped in bubble wrap. This was so I could turf them under my bed to keep them out the way. Also took off the boot struts and boot lock.Theres some pics of whats under my bed too lol dont worry the leds/neons aint going anywhere near the car (thats what i get for reading too many car mags lol) anyway heres the pics-
now u can see why everybody gets there xmas presents in asda bags.....
