Waaaooohhh, just found this in parts for sale!!!
Thats even the same numberplate it had on when I sold it, I cut it down the day before the photoshoot lol......
IANS2RST, come on then mate, gimme some more info.... how long you had it?? who u buy it off? waht Spec was it when you bought it?? What colour was it... Did you recognise the car at all???
Cant believe someone has blended an S1 kit on, AND cut a huge chunk outta the floorpan I restored sheeesh... WELL I did always wonder if she was still around...

Took me about 3 years to build that car, in between doing my A-Levels.... Everything apart from polish the rims was done by me

car was the colour in the pic, came with fuel cell, sparco bucket, full turbo running gear, big brakes, 17 inch racelines and coilovers.
bought it cos it was fairly cheap.
was going to paint it and use on the track but don't have the time or space.
the guy I bought it from was simon Holmes which I think is who you sold it to.

yup, I sold it to him...... Łcukin hell.... There was actually some pics of it in Fast Car couple o years back too, down sutton way... presumably he moved up to your way then yeah?? Is he a mate of yours? get him online, he might have some more pics???

Bought it, july 94 IIRC, "restored" it..... used it, featured May '99, sold it August '99. Simon Holmes was the FIRST person to view it, paid the asking price, without even questioning it..... ....... Might sound sad...... But I did actually 
as I walked away, after swoping the keys for huge chunk of wedge... Susanna followed me up to his, and drove me home..... I have, some video footage of this car blasting up n down the A20 the night I delivered it

Aye, is in hi build primer... Aswell as the blended kit, its had the front strut tops seam welded maybe??, also where the cage has been welded to the shell would need some treating, it would have "burnt" off the extrerior paint in places...it obviously got sold by the guy who bought it from me, "mid project"... Its actually had quite a bit of work already carried out on the shell, Id like to knoww who did it, I reckon the spare wheel well has been removed and welded in a new boot floor, ALL the internal rear quarter bracing/strenghthening has been removed, obviosly some of the dloor has been cut out, probably to have a mild space-frame fitted, to aid strength and weight reduction...

Anytime u feel like poping up Damo me old fruit feel free the old girl is sat outside my house as we speak!
she does look fookin good in black!!!!! but I already got a black 1! & got me heart set on tiger stripes!!!!!
It now has a side exit zorsy! & am hopin that i can still get 2 seats in there still!
When she is all done m8y! u can take her for a spin then after u have re-conectted with her i will offer u a straight swap for ur monte!
But seriously If u wana c her feel free its about a 2.5 hour drive though! as i don e i a few times 1 time in 1hr 55mins!
Will keep eveery1 updated on her progress but its gunna b a while as aint got the cash @ the mo!

Anytime u wanna come up m8 & lena a hand feel free! I am thinkin of gettin rid of the passenger door as i think a de-locked/handled door is no good for trak use! so if u want the door as a memory let me know!

I got a turbo bonnet which has had badge smoothed! & will b adding a 90spec bumper with the turbo line smoothed out" other than that & the door she will stay how is!

Nah man keep the door, Its part of the smoothed theme, just look at the pics man, no side repeaters either MK 4 wings too SMOOTH and (when I prepped and painted it) DAMN straight
THe dehandle was done properly, by me, all welded, the finished off with a little glassing,, in the time I had it there was NO filler sink mate
IF you that worried, have a catch release, up the side of the glass or summat...
I got some stories and shit to tell u about that car.... what have you let yourself in for

i supoes it is the passenger door! so fook the passenger long as they can get e out innit!
will have to c if i can get anoth seat in there anyway as some1 raised the floor for the side exit!

I looked @ year of reg & said to the bird well it was about 30mins ago i looked @ docs & i said fook this car is older than i am!
the shell lookes the boollox & there ois no rust in her! she will b gettin a full rub down though & paint all over!
