Thanks to Trev, got hydraulic clutch finished and got the gearbox back in the car by 11:00
Removed breather tank so can modify the vent aftermy problems at Donington last trackday. Going to weld a -12 onto the vent outlet and lead that to a catch tank in the inner wing.
Got osf front strut top prepped, cleaned and stone chipped ready for some topcoat tomorrow and then build up the front end monday after i've got some new nuts and bolts.
Got some more bits to take to powder coaters monday as well.
Time ticking away towards Central Day
Infact i hope to go to Castle Combe on saturday for the Action Day

Today's Update
Had a busy week as usual No pics as not bought a decent camera yet
1. Removed front calipers and machined the mounting holes out to 12mm to suit new brackets.
2. Finished both strut tops and mounted eccentric top mounts. These should allow me to run enough camber without having any more driveshaft issues. Also got my Compression Strut kit from NutsRus so assembled those and fitted them.
3. Refitted front hubs and driveshafts.
4. Removed old clutch pedal assembly and replaced it with one modified to take a rose jointeed linkage to the master cylinder. Fitted master cylinder to bulkhead and connected linkage and set pedal height.
Jobs still to do
1. Bleed clutch and brakes after i get some more fluid and an Easy Bleed kit tomorrow.
2. Bolt in fuel cell and plumb pump/filters back in.
3. Fit front and rear propshafts.
4. Fit exhaust and downpipe.
5. Fit bumpers and bootlid.
Then got to TAX it and get the suspension set up to settings kindly supplied by the Track God that is Mike R
Some big thanks for this week
Trev for his never ending enthusiasm and help
Tony NutsRus for all his advice and for being a super parts supplier
Mike R for putting up with my constant Pms about suspension
Diva for answering my stupid questions at all hours

Good News
Finally got hydraulic clutch working and brakes bled, then refitted downpipe, exhaust, props.
Bleeding brakes
Due to front springs being too long and spring platforms being too close to wheels for my liking, i ordered some new springs from www.raldes.co.uk and 'borrowed' Trev's helper springs.
New springs fitted
Compression struts and adjustable tcas
Bad News
Then sorted other niggly bits and bobs and got it out the garage only to find the gear selector in the box is bolloxed
Suspension set up
Managed to get the car to Gupa P to have the suspension geometry set up.
Front: 3.30 Castor, -2.00 camber and 2mm toe in
Rear: -2.00 camber and 3mm toe in.
New pics
Couple of pics with offset problems sorted and new stickers on wheels 8) 8) 8)
Also new bonnet sticker
Big thanks to StickerPaul
They were going to be a Central Day surprise for everyone but Shonky has other plans
