I've had a merc c class since which is nice to drive but needs more power. My golf is up for sale and I'm looking for a new motor now

Little update, haven't done to much, sold mine old chassis rails on ebay just got order new ones. Been busy doing the walls for the garage, mum started moaning that all she could she was the car when she looked out the windows! haha
His a pick of the garage before, sorter just see the posts:
And with walls:
Just gota sort out the roof, but no rush!
Picked up mint bootlid and drivers doors, no dents or rust!
Cost zero pounds, mate gave to me cause they where taking up room, cheers Daz
And this is how shes sitting at, at the mo:

Had a few hours free today, thought i work on the car,
Wanted to red oxide bear metal cause surface rust was started to show, wanted to get chassis rail in and riveted in to place, to be welded later! and if i had time put new drivers door on!
Well started well, got all metal covered up with red oxide:
Sorry bout pic quaily, taken on phone!!
Then problems started, i had to wait for my dad come home from golf cause riveter was in his car, so thought i get on with changing the doors!!
Then this:
Fcuking bolt rounded off, 2hours i spent trying, had impact sockets, chiesals, hammers, tried everything on it, only a 10mm bolt, wouldnt move! Then dad came home with beers so i retired
Next time the angle grinder coming out
