Got round to doing a bit more at last.

Painted rest of underside. Fitted new handbrake cable.

Beam back on.

Trailing arms fitted.

New fuel filter and bracket.

Also put two new fuel lines on that run full length of car. Pic of old against new.

Also got side skirts re-fitted with new clips, bolts etc after giving sills a good clean and waxoiling.

Hopefully get more done this week with lighter nights now.

Cheers Chris.

Just found this thread, looking good! Did you paint the fuel lines before you fitted them? Bet they'd look nice in black against the white, would stop them going crappy like your last ones did too

Suggestion: Decide whether you want these bits all white or all black. Looks a bit half-hearted left with spray lines down them. Keep up the good work though, looking much much nicer under there already!

Didn't paint lines just fitted them as they were.
The 'half-hearted' look is just as they were painted from ford. Just trying to keep it similar as i didn't want to paint arches white.

RADMAN Yeh that vent pipe isn't available. Not to sure what to do with it as its all rusted and wouldn't paint up easily.

Thanx for all your comments.

Fair enough, just an observation I thought would make it look neater Will be following this thread, nothing like the sight of new paint and shiny parts!

you could always get the pipe sandblasted, they will do anything , then just paint it or get it powdercoated if you cant get them anymore, cheers mark.

Got round to doing a bit more at last.

Springs on, new spring pads, brake shields and hubs fitted.

New ford green brake lines and braided flexi hoses. Anti roll bar fitted with new deflex bushes and new ford links and bushes.

Diff cleaned, painted and re-fitted.

Gearbox bracket and prop painted. Heatshield cleaned and re-fitted with new fixings.

Not much more to do now at the back. Hopefully finish this week.
Then got front springs to fit and a bit of tidying while i'm at it.
