Our new 3door Cos - p2
Swapped my EsCos for one
Everybody thinks I'm just mad, but I want a car I can use as a daily drive...
Imho my Escos wasn't really suited to be driven every day... Too hard, too low, too much bling
Not really the best pics... More to follow soon

We're really looking forward to using it every day
Sure we'll miss the escos, but you can't have it all I suppose
I often (not only on this board) hear comments about it being a nice car, "but not a cosworth".
That's maybe true, but they all compare a standard RS with a stage 3 escos...
Don't know if anyone has ever driven a standard escos, but they drive like sh$t
I'm convinced this car will bring us much more joy than the escos who was tucked away in a garage most of the time

Standard focus will kill a standard escort coss evern more so if its a large turbo one, i have both and i love the focus, get the focus a blue fin chip and it will make the car come alive and then you wont be looking back any more mate.

mmm, wouldn't mind a Focus RS...... then again after lookin in the trader, could probably afford one at the moment, 2 on there under 14k and another 2 for about the 14.5k mark...... lotsa choice!

I did not post this thread to discuss which one is faster or better...
I only said it is not really fair to compare a standard rs to a stage 3 cossie.
I've driven a standard cosworth before and now a standard Focus RS.
And as a STANDARD car the RS is the better car for ME.

well all i will say is i have drive both cars as standard and the focus will kill a standard escort large turbo on the road, might not top end and 0 to 60 but thats about it. Have you all driven a standard large turbo escort to say laggy is an under statement and the focus is just about instant.

We collected it last saturday
A bit sad to leave the EsCos, but to be honest I forgot all about it when driving the RS home
The last picture... (our RS on the right and behind the Cos a new ST)
After a quick clean

I must admit that I looked at getting an EsCos when I bought my Focus but, again as mines my everyday car, I had to go for the sensible choice - just have to get both and keep the Cossie for the weekend I suppose
