Default Can someone do me a logo for my Website? BRIBE INCLUDED!

Bribe: If anyone can really help me out with the design side of things I'm sure some shiny bits could wing their way onto your car!

Hi folks - can any of you help me do a Logo for my Website?
Basically I'm pants at anything arty, struggle to use Photoshop and want something half decent!

The web address will be:

www.2400MOTORSPORT.co.uk

I'd do a rough version of what I was after if I knew how - so I'll try to describe what I'm after instead!

I'd like (pretty please):

The logo to be black background with Silver writing
Feature the web address as clearly as poss (but not in a boring Times New Roman Font -something a bit smart/modern)
Feature my phone no 07971 661940 and email ad: sib666@hotmail.com
In a plain font around the edges of the logo the following info:
Specialst fabrications in Stainless steel
Inlet plenums
Cam belt covers
Heat shields
Tanks
One offs/ custom work

Hopefully someone on here can help me get my site off the ground!

Cheers
Simon

I did these two sites:

www.caruk.org

www.tibblesflorist.co.uk

I can have a go later if you like, are you after full website main page or just a advert logo like the ones on this site above?

Hi folks,

I'm after just logos / art work at the mo - my bro and a mate should be able to build the actual website.

I can't really say what I'm after, as I don't know how to do it myself! I'm hoping you guys can come up with something based on my first post above, and I'll like it! Hopefully!

As long as it has the basics mentioned in my first post, the 'arty' stuff is down to you guys who know what you're doing!

Try a basic design on me, and I'll be able to guide / suggest / praise etc accordingly...

Thanks in advance!

Like the motto matey It was quite funny actually, but a tad cheesey! Have't really thought of one to be honest.

Apart from "Specialist fabrications in stainless steel" though that's not really a motto, more what we do.

I'll have a think about it!

Hello Maul thanks

yes its a Photoshop job and image ready to create the animation. Heres another site im doing for a local mechanic, its just an image and not coded yet as im waiting for him say hes happy. The text is just rough.

http://www.tibblesflorist.co.uk/speedy.htm

I’m also looking to learn flash myself too, I have done all I can with gifs now I think..

Wow wow and more wow!

You guys are the bestest!!!

LAMB CHOPS - yours is really cool, love the way it works, would look spot on at the top of the website! Just one thing tho if poss (pretty please!!) could you change the font a bit? Less italicy and more like the font Damien Holmes has used? If that's easy enough to do.

I love the way the contact details slide pops up plain, then a second later the 'sunshine / reflection on the camera lense' thing pops up - very bling like the kit we hope to sell!

DamienHolmes - yours too is spot on - would make a very good Siggy, if you can resize it to fit the passionford size (think it's 25kb or something) that would be ace. Can you add .co.uk after the 2400 Motorsport bit, so people know the website address?

Getting even cleverer, do you know how to make it a clickable siggy, so it actually takes you to the website? Once it's built of course, at the mo there should be nothing there!

Both of you have captured what I was after despite me not being able to even draw what I was after on paper! Got a lot of respect for people that are clever with stuff like this

Foci-Ben Loved your work too! Spoilt for choice now - just got to run it all past the business partner!

Cheers
Simon

Lambchops - spot on mate, I like that a lot.
Fiesta Simon - yet another option for me - I can't cope! That's very smart as well - just like I visualised, but without being able to do it myself!

I'm having a business meeting ref the website in the next few weeks, I'll let you know how things go. Then I'll do as mentioned above and send a bribe to whoever's design we use. Once i've okayed it with the guy who makes it all!

Cheers everyone!!

Sib

Can you do something about the size of your sig please.

Here are the allowable sizes:
Max siggy physical Size: = 550 x 150
Max siggy Disk size: = 25000bytes (25k)
Yours is : 800 x 200 and ever so slightly too big is file size.

Many thanks.

Apologies Adrian, as you can see from above post I'm not a computer wizz so not sure how to do that. Will remove siggy though (think it may be making the screens too wide as well, which ironically is a pet hate of mine!)
