Thought i'd post some pics up of my old fiesta, the only car that i wish i'd never sold

started off a standard white one bar 16's when i bought it!!

Rough spec:

7.2:1 Low comp
Brand new standard head, standard size valves etc
Ahmed Bayjoo spec camshaft
Cossie management live mapped by Ahmed @ 1.5bar
greens
4X4 cossie T3 with .63 exhaust housing
GRS rad and cooler
rolling roaded at PTS @ 255BHP and 253Lb

Maxest - Just bought a new house with some land so am going to be busy for a few months building stables and things but, definatly, i will be building another car most probably a fiesta again.

cracking wi the mk5 dash,did it have the lsd box 2 m8 cos that a lot of power going thru the front wheels!

Quite simply IMO the best Mk3 fiesta ever!!!! I don't think i'd change one single thing about it. You must be gutted you sold it Still i look forward to seeing what you do with your next project when it comes about.

I still occasionally hunt out the PF article about it and am amazed by all the small touches that complete the overall package of the car. Its the Fiesta equivalent of twins S2 - so many new ideas incorporated whilst keeping with the original design and ford heritage.

funny that, looks alright on mondeo rims when you had it, but when you sold it and he put mondeo wheels on i thought it ruined the car. it did look damn good on the soft spokes though

Dave ( Twins ) Cor, they are early photos, still with the 16's, that was when it was just finished, Still trying to work out though, i nthis pic, it's got a black mirror on??? they were painted and fitted when the car was in the body shop???



RsRawli, yeah,it did look good on the 7 spokes but he put 10mm spacers on the rear to clear the shocks, then asked me why it rubbed on the arches

T4KAF - It DID have an LSD box at first, i had a box built by Boreham's gearbox builder while i was working there, series one casing, with series 2 LSD and gears, it lasted 4 months so i threw in a diesel box and it lasted the rest of the time i had it

Yea that was the eday you cut your finger on the fan ,we popped over in Neils escos ,i think you had another set being done at the body shop and you just slapped these on to drive it

A MATE OF A MATE NOW OWNS THE FIESTA IN THE PICS. THING IS,IM SORRY TO SAY IT SOUNDS LIKE HES WRECKED IT.HE FORGOT TO LOCK THE BONNET PINS DOWN AND ON THE MOTORWAY THE BONNET FLICKED UP,TAKIN OUT THE BONNET,WINDOWSCREAN AND A NICE DENT IN THE ROOF!!!! THE ENGINES A BIT SMOKEY OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT,ITS IN A GARAGE IN DEVON HAVING SOME SERIOUS AMOUNTS OF WELDING DONE!!! HIS FRONT FLOORPANS HAD HOLES THE SIZE OF FOOTBALLS IN(AND NO IM NOT JOKING!!!)IT NEEDS TWO OUTER SEALS AND A NEW PETROL CAP!!!! NO WONDER HE GOT IT FOR AROUND Ł3???

It must have had a mega leak then cos when it was painted, it was empty and the floor and sills were solid or i would have had them done!!!
Sounds like it's ready for the scrapper
