It looked nice then (in the MikeyRS pic),
but it was only a puny standard 1.6 which never had enough power to pull the skin of a rice pudding , not a full on Evo destroying 2.1 coz managed track beast
So there's no comparison really, its much, much better now

The rear disc brakes is what let me down on the Evo time car, so I decided to sell the rear disc conversion and keep the rear drums instead when rebuilding the beast.
I personally think that you can get a Escort RS Turbo to brake just as good with drums on the back if setup correctly
(Unless you've got the big Fu*koff front & rear brakes that Glenis had on his Rs, then thats a different story )

Your bonnets open mate! How many times have i been told that! Bonnets lifters fitted on my zetec cabby cos the inlet manifold is too high to close the bonnet. They are just to put me on for a while am saving up for webber alpha gold throttle bodies. Cool car, my first rs was a black s2

Very very nice mate!! Subtle looking, but with all the right bits on
I take it it goes well then on the road pumping out that sort of power 15psi
Very well done
