Well im back on the road nearly just over a year since the first rebuild,
which went wrong after supposidly being built by a 'ralliart' mechanic
.
The car was featured in performance ford in may, which has been the goal
since i bought the car 3 and half years ago.
The engine is a low comp 1.6 with accralite pistons, farndon steel H
section conrods.Fully lightened and balanced, high rate oil pump,
uprated bearings.
Turbo is stage 3 T3,fully heat wrapped as well as manifold and downpipe.
Gearbox is a stage 2 box with quaife diff from the gearbox, running
a helix paddle clutch.
Intercooler is a GRS evo3 with a pace alloy rad and kenlowe fan.
The head is a stage 4 from racepowermotorsport with1mm oversized
inlet +exhaust valves fully gas flowed and ported,it now has a
piper 282T2 with a kent adj vernier. It was running a kent cvh36 cam
which i found out on the second rebuild that it was fooked not to happy
as it had only done around 3k
Brakes are TAR.OX 6 pots with 288mm drilled and groved discs.
Interior fully retrimed in white leather with red piping, chrome half
roll cage .
Last power run at engine advantages before the second reuild was 231BHP
so im hoping for somewhere in the region of the same once its run in
(only 500 miles to go
)
Any way heres some pics

you need to get shot of that cable tied pipe under the bumper dood , id expect to see more than 230 bhp too
also how much did you pay for the re trim the seats looks a bit bad in some areas , i like the car a lot, but if it was mine id change a few things , like anyone would im sure

The seats have been retrimmed in leather so there is bound to be a few
creases in them,id like to see a leather interior that hasnt, but id
hardly say they 'look bad in places'

the pipe under the bumper directs air straight to the filter,so its
not getting 'shot'anywhere.
Id be the first to admit the car isnt everyones cup of tea,but you cant
please everyone .
Thanks to everyon else for your comments

Favourite picture of the bunch
I love the car in every way possible, just need a powdercoated inlet and you're 100% finished
Looks better with the rims instead of voodoo's

I'd say thats THE best ERST I've ever seen buddy, if it were mine I'd have done merely exactly the same that you've done, and I'd have been really fcukin proud too.
Bet you feel good sat behind the wheel of that eh![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
