Oki, thats a bit further then us
We had a upper limit on 300hp MAX.
So we went for accralite pistons, balanced standard crank, shootpeened rods,ARP everywhere, cometic gasket, mildly ported head and selfmade intake/exhaust manifolds.
Pretty basic but enough for this kid im building it for.
Wery nice car you built, I LIKE A LOT. you seem to have an eye for details

Made a few more mods recently to reduce weight and increase power and got the data logger to talk to my ECU finally.
Will post more pics up shortly.

Update
Fitted this carbon fibre rear diffuser to keep the back end stable at speed.
Gives the car ground effect by sucking the back end down.
Latest engine spec has 8 injectors and coil on plug too

My dads friend has a 2.3 duratec, westfield, that he races in some championship, anyway he took me out down his lane, bear in mine only 1 seat so i was clinging to roll cage, but hell it scared me, Awesome piece of kit, and the duratec weighs 83kg

In full race trim the duratec weighs 10kg less than the zetec.
There isn't much real benefit as you have to change all the internals when you up the power anyway but duratecs can easy get 280bhp N/A
Someone local has done the conversion from zetec to Duratec and has saved 10kg but his new engine is 270bhp and the car goes like stink.
Mine is verging on 400bhp and the car weighs circa 500kg so its quite quick for an old zetec
These cars are the way forward as they can blow anything.
I raced a 500bhp skyline a month or so ago and made him look silly.
Was only running 12psi too at the time and the engines mapped to 32psi
